More about Mike Chenoweth.

Mike Chenoweth Jr. has always known what he wanted to be when he grew up ever since he could walk. Mike's dad has been a general contractor for all of his life which is where his exposure to construction began at an early age. Mike started working for him as a teenager and by the time he was ready for college had several years of experience under his belt and knew he wanted to take his knowledge to the next level.

This led to his decision to pursue a Bachelor of Science with a focus in Structural Engineering and Construction Management at Penn State University. After college, Mike put his degree to work in Construction Project Manager roles gaining hands-on knowledge and skill in both residential and commercial construction and most notably, worked as a Project Engineer and Assistant Project Manager at the well-known and respected Whiting-Turner Contracting Company.

Mike has been self-employed for over 10 years as a general contractor specializing in residential and commercial new construction and remodeling. He has over 20 years of construction industry experience and is extremely skilled in value engineering (a systematic way of enhancing the value of a project, process, or product while minimizing costs), estimating and cost management. This expertise is what drives his passion for providing the highest value without compromising quality at the lowest cost for his customers. He understands that customer delight has to be the top priority for any project and his goal is to deliver exactly that.

In his free time, Mike enjoys following his favorite sports teams, the Baltimore Ravens and the Baltimore Orioles. His hobbies include golfing, hiking, traveling and eating well. Most importantly, Mike loves spending time with Megan, his significant other, and their 2 dogs, Ranger and Glasgow.
